Patrick Wijzenbroek is a driven advisor who is dedicated to supporting companies on the road to success. With a broad background in both corporate and SMEs, he brings “the best of both worlds” to companies with diverse issues. Patrick is analytical and communicatively strong. He quickly converts information from conversations into concrete advice and supports the implementation to achieve desired changes.
After studying business economics at Erasmus University, he started working at Siemens, a large German multinational in electronics and electrical engineering. He held various positions in different divisions, such as business analyst, project controller, and sales controller. As a business unit controller, he gained his first management experience.
From 2007, Patrick worked for 5 years as division controller at Wincor Nixdorf, another German multinational. As a member of the management team, he was involved in strategy development and implementation, deployment of commercial activities for major clients (terms and financing), and operations, in addition to the management of finance, sales support, and logistics.
After this period, he moved to the SME sector. He started as CFO at Bonusan, a rapidly growing, successful family business engaged in the development, production, and sale of nutritional supplements. As the first external board member, he made a significant contribution to the professionalization of the company.
In 2015, Patrick joined another family business. This company designs, builds, and maintains complex, large-scale climate installations for the commercial market. He started as CFO and took on the role of CEO after 6 months. He wrote the strategic plan of the company and implemented it. Thanks to the improvements (and with a little help from the recovering economy), the revenue doubled within 2 years.
The experience in SMEs and the satisfaction of improving led him to join the team of Crossminds in 2018. He can now focus on this full time. Patrick has been involved as an advisor in various projects for diverse clients since then.
